Tempo is hiring a Product Engineer to build first-party blockchain products and integrate Tempo into customer payment systems.

About the Role

The role moves between building products such as Tempo Wallet and deploying stablecoin payment integrations inside startup and enterprise environments.

It offers exposure to the full product, integration, and go-to-market cycle and requires travel within the United States when partner work needs it.

The role spans business-critical payment and crypto problems across startups, mid-market companies, and enterprises, with direct exposure to product development, integration, and go-to-market work.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Build internal and first-party applications on Tempo for agents and human users.
• Work with startups and enterprises to integrate Tempo into payment systems.
• Develop deep knowledge of the Tempo blockchain and product surface.
• Navigate unfamiliar codebases and customer organizations to ship production integrations.
• Bring field learning back to improve the product, developer experience, and blockchain.
• Balance speed, pragmatism, safety, reliability, and technical quality.

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

• At least four years of full-stack engineering experience.
• At least one year of experience in crypto.
• Strong communication across technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to travel within the United States when partner work requires it.
• A record of shipping mission-critical systems where safety and reliability matter.
• Ability to work quickly across product development and customer integration contexts.
