About the Role
The Legal Counsel will support Silent Protocol across legal operations, corporate documentation, regulatory research, outside-counsel management, and internal compliance. The role carries substantial autonomy and may be performed remotely on a full-time or part-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Manage legal operations covering contracts, company structure, human-resources matters, and compliance.
- Plan, draft, and implement corporate documentation.
- Build legal processes that can scale with the organization.
- Select and manage external counsel in relevant jurisdictions.
- Research United States and international laws that affect business decisions.
- Support product development, service operations, and navigation of the global regulatory landscape.
Qualifications
- A law degree. A computer-science or information-security background is helpful.
- At least two years of experience at a major law firm, ideally serving technology or financial-services clients.
- In-house experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto is useful.
- Strong research, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with blockchain, Ethereum, and DeFi.
