Agent Pay Hackathon 2026–2027
Agent Pay is an official MERGE hackathon focused on the moment autonomous AI agents begin moving money. Builders will create agent-commerce and micropayment products using stablecoins and programmable blockchain rails.

Tracks
- Agent Commerce: Build an autonomous agent that purchases services, data, compute, or goods and pays in stablecoins end to end without a human in the loop.
- Agent Micropayments: Build infrastructure for streaming payments between agents, including pay-per-API-call, pay-per-token, and pay-per-second models at sub-cent cost.
Programme
The programme begins with the 48-hour Madrid hackathon and continues toward a demo day at MERGE Buenos Aires in March 2027. Top projects may be shortlisted for the road to Buenos Aires.
