Account Executive, Financial Markets

About Matter Labs

Matter Labs builds cryptographic infrastructure for global finance. The team created ZKsync and shipped the first production zero-knowledge rollup. Today we build Prividium, an Ethereum-secured blockchain platform for banks and financial institutions that need privacy, compliance, and full control of their data. Prividium runs in production: Deutsche Bank's Project DAMA 2 is built on Prividium, which also underpins Cari Network, a tokenised-deposit network developed with five US regional banks. The platform is early. The reference deployments are real, the repeatable sales motion is still being built. This role shapes that motion.

The role

You will build Prividium's business across the UK and European financial-markets ecosystem, based in London. The relationships you develop and the strategic agreements you close will determine how fast this region becomes a core market for us. The role owns territory strategy, pipeline creation, deal execution, and closed agreements with banks, asset managers, exchanges, financial market infrastructures, payment firms, and regulated fintechs. It is a hands-on individual contributor role with full-cycle ownership.

What you'll do

Core Responsibilities

• Own territory revenue. Deliver agreed pipeline, bookings, and revenue outcomes across the UK and European financial-markets territory.

• Build the market plan. Develop a clear view of where Prividium wins in the region: priority institutions, use cases, buying groups, and ecosystem partners.

• Create pipeline. Originate opportunities through executive relationships, direct prospecting, industry events, and partners. Build momentum beyond inbound demand.

• Run deep discovery. Understand customer workflows, constraints, and economics across tokenised deposits, payments, settlement, collateral, funds, and asset issuance.

• Navigate institutional buying. Coordinate long processes spanning business leadership, product, technology, architecture, security, risk, compliance, procurement, and legal.

• Lead evaluations. Work with Solutions Engineering and Product to shape workshops, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concept plans that advance a buying decision.

• Close strategic agreements. Build mutual action plans, keep deal discipline, and lead commercial and contractual negotiation through to signature.

What we look for

Each of these is a demonstrated capability, shown through work you have done:

• 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales or strategic-account work, with closed six- or seven-figure agreements.

• Selling software, data, SaaS, or infrastructure into banks, capital-markets firms, exchanges, FMIs, payment providers, or comparable regulated institutions.

• Credible relationships and market knowledge across London's institutional finance ecosystem, reaching both business and technology decision-makers.

• Originating pipeline through insight-led outreach and executive relationships, with named examples of accounts you opened.

• Leading multi-stakeholder buying processes across security, risk, compliance, procurement, legal, and executive approval.

• Discussing enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, deployment models, and data privacy credibly with senior technology stakeholders.

If you meet most of these and believe you can do this job, apply anyway.

Nice to have

Working knowledge of blockchain, tokenisation, or institutional digital assets, and experience selling a category-defining product while the sales motion was still being refined. Proven institutional-sales performance matters more.

Work model & pay

• Competitive base salary

• Performance-based variable compensation and a long-term token incentive are additional. Both are paid in ZK tokens. New-hire token grants vest over four years with a one-year cliff.

• Freedom & ownership culture: no time tracking, minimum bureaucracy-only results matter.
