Business Development Analyst (Internship)

About Hyperithm

Hyperithm is a leading crypto asset management firm in Asia. We design and develop our trading systems and financial models in-house, connecting traditional finance and Web3.

• Team: Web engineers, traders, researchers, VC investors, and legal, finance, and accounting professionals from global universities and firms.
• Technology: An engineering-driven organization. We design and develop our own trading systems and operating infrastructure.
• Investors: Over KRW 20 billion in cumulative funding from Samsung, Kakao, Naver, Hashed, GS Group, VIP Asset Management, and Coinbase.
• Service: Crypto financial services for institutional investors.
• Global business: Asset management for institutional investors in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States.
• Standing: nine-year track record and institutional networks in Korea and Japan.

About the Position

As the Business Development Analyst, you will turn our leadership's business strategy into closed deals. You will work the full deal process, from technical review to global capital structuring.

• The BD team runs fundraising and partnerships with global institutional investors. The work covers the full deal cycle: investor sourcing and outreach, meeting preparation (research, decks, data), follow-ups, deal closing, and onboarding.
• This role runs on the time zones of the CEO and our global partners. We operate across Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and New York, so you will be expected to stay reachable and responsive across those time zones, and to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, when deals require it.
• You will take end-to-end ownership of the groundwork required to close a deal: data organization, documentation, research, meeting coordination, and the rest of the preparation each deal requires. Much of this work is detailed and unglamorous. We are looking for analysts who want to run deals themselves.

What Hyperithm Offers

• BD Bootcamp program: A compressed curriculum covering hedge fund practice and crypto trading.
• Executive reporting line: You will see executive decision-making up close.
• Collaboration with the trading team: You will join trading team meetings and see fund management decisions as they are made, without managing assets yourself.
• A global network: You will work directly with global firms and stakeholders across the crypto industry.
• Ownership: You decide how to reach your goals. Scope grows with demonstrated ability, not with title or tenure. You can pitch projects to global partners directly, and your research can lead to closed deals.
• A trollbox culture: Traders, engineers, and researchers share market, investment, and technology insights daily in company-wide open channels. What you take from it depends on how much you engage.
• International travel and global conferences: You will join global partner meetings and major conferences in person.
• A career accelerator: You will build practical knowledge across finance, trading, and crypto, and skills that transfer to careers such as global IB and S&T.
• Work environment: High-spec devices and current AI tools are provided. You can lead projects to automate your own workflow with AI.
