Overview
As a Derivatives Sales Manager, UAE on the STP Derivative Sales team, you will own Coinbase's derivatives growth across the UAE, MENA, and Europe by building and scaling relationships with professional traders. The team drives revenue and market share for Coinbase Advanced derivatives products, including crypto perpetuals, options, and real-world asset products.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow a network of professional traders across the UAE, MENA, and Europe, driving revenue through relationship-led acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing account management.
- Design and execute a long-term regional sales strategy with targets for market penetration, volume growth, and client expansion.
- Lead regional market-entry and expansion efforts, navigate local regulatory environments, and adapt Coinbase's derivatives offerings to regional compliance requirements and market demand.
- Partner with Product, Risk, and Compliance teams to localize perpetual futures, futures, and options products.
- Represent Coinbase at client meetings, industry events, and conferences across the region.
- Build and optimize sales processes, CRM workflows, and support structures to scale the Prosumer Derivatives business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ten or more years in derivatives sales, trading, or structuring across crypto, foreign exchange, rates, or equities, with direct profit-and-loss responsibility and a record of independently sourcing and closing high-profile clients.
- Deep knowledge of the UAE, MENA, and European crypto regulatory and market environment and experience defining and executing multi-year regional growth strategies.
- Expertise in perpetual futures, futures, and options, with existing relationships across prosumer and advanced retail clients.
- Experience working with active and prosumer traders, ideally on derivatives platforms.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UAE, MENA, and Europe for client meetings, events, and conferences.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to produce business-ready work and measurable workflow improvements.
