Etherscan.io is a leading Blockchain (Ethereum) services company. We are looking to add to the team a Frontend/UI Developer to ensure If you are experienced with frontend development, have an eye for design and are obsessed about amazing user experience, this role is for you. Our platform is the #1 Block Explorer for the Ethereum blockchain and you will be designing products that help millions of users smoothly navigate the dark forests of a blockchain.

The Role

As Systems Engineer at Etherscan, you will be able to:

1. Scale up multiple platforms through exponential growth
2. Maintain uptime of a service essential to millions of blockchain users
3. Protect our infrastructure from frequent, inventive attacks

In this role, you will:

1. Build, deploy and monitor infrastructure and services
2. Monitor the uptime of all services and ensure each are running in a scalable manner
3. Harden all security policies of our infrastructure to prevent services being affected by malicious attacks
4. Administer multiple cloud servers from providers like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and dedicated servers
5. Configure tools and write scripts that monitor each service and alert of errors or failures
6. Prepare and update disaster recovery plans in the event of failures
7. Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software

You will be a great fit if:

1. At least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
2. At least 5 years of experience in a related field
3. Required Skill(s): Network Security, IIS, Cloud Computing, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DNS, DevOps, Script, Command-line, Windows Server, Linux, Network Monitoring, Cloudflare
4. Preferably a Senior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
5. Have a solid knowledge of systems infrastructure, DNS, network administration and security
6. Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision
7. Trustworthy, accountable and quick to help when things require fixing
8. Extra points if you are passionate and knowledgeable about Ethereum
